A not quite so self-indulgent link this time. This is one of my closest and oldest friends’ band. Jonathan (my friend) is the drummer, and they’re fantastic. Their style is more electro-pop, the song on their site sounds a little more Elliot Smith, but I think they’ve evolved a bit. In any case, they have albums released in Australia, Japan, France, and Germany, but — of course — not the States.
Anyway, the point of all this is that I went to see them perform at The Annex tonight and they were effing unbelievable. I’m not one to be on the inside of the music scene, but if I’m allowed to say this one thing: This is a band to watch.
