What is it about athletes? What is it about sports, in general?? I get that they’re entertaining to watch, and it allows for people to feel like they’re a part of something bigger, but these athletes, these men are not GODS. They’re human. And they’re fallible, and they should be judged as such.
Reading about this dirtbag Jerramy (SERIOUSLY?) Stevens makes me sick to my stomach.
And I’m SO sick of reading about rapes and sexual assaults where the line wasn’t dark enough to declare non-consent. It disgusts me that a girl has to be declared too drunk to consent, and that that’s a nearly impossible argument to make, for fear that if you draw the line to early, girls everywhere will be crying RAPE.
That’s complete and utter bullshit. I can’t think of ANY reason good enough for a girl to put herself through a false rape trial. And you know what, guys, if you’re so concerned about some regretful girl calling last night’s tango a rape, then how about you try not to have sex with really drunk girls.
